Maria is a third-year law school student at William Boyd School of Law at UNLV where she was recognized as the outstanding student of Immigration Adjustment of Status and Deportation. Defense Class in the Community Service Program. She is also a Court Appointed Special Advocate (“CASA”) for children in foster care and throughout the years has assisted low-income individuals in obtining U.S. citizenship and DACA status.
For 11 years, as a paralegal, she has handled complex family law cases and appeals, and was chosen to teach a portion of the first Paralegal Boot Camp at the annual family law conference in March 2020. In April 2022, Maria joined Marathon Law Group where she continues her legal
journey towards becoming a successful family law and immigration attorney.
In her spare time, she proudly shares her Hispanic heritage by performing Aztec dancing throughout the U.S.
