Originally from Rhode Island, Nina has lived in Las Vegas since 2011 and earned both her bachelor of arts and juris doctor from UNLV. Nina is a first-generation college and law school graduate. As an undergraduate and law school student, Nina collaborated with UNLV governance and community leaders during the 78th and 81st Nevada Legislative Sessions to support the drafting and passage of laws related to the creation of the Medical School at UNLV and reform to government accountability. She also served on the governing board of OUTLaws, the LGBTQ+ student organization at the William S. Boyd School of Law at UNLV, and earned a CALI award for her community-related work as a student attorney at the Thomas & Mack Legal Clinic in 2020.
Nina was admitted to practice law with the Nevada State Bar and the Nevada U.S. District Court in 2022. Her legal experience includes special education advocacy for foster youth, and personal injury litigation with one of the largest insurance defense firms in the country, which benefits Nina’s family law clients with key insights in cases involving custody decisions and education of minor children, and a trained eye for meticulous detail in legal writing and discovery.
Since joining Marathon Law Group in 2023, Nina has helped clients with initial child custody and divorce matters from intake to trial, modifications to existing custody and child support orders, and marital settlement negotiations.
